We are offering limited High School bus transportation for the 2017-18 school year. We will be accepting registration forms for High School Students to ride the Jr. High School buses to and from school. To register, an online registration form must be completed. More information is available here.

Buckeye Transportation compound is located on the Buckeye Local Schools Campus on Columbia Road. 19 drivers, 2 mechanics, 1 bus aide, 1 secretary, and one supervisor staff the Transportation Department to provide safe, efficient transportation to the Buckeye students. The Transportation Department, under the direction of Roger Nowell Transportation Supervisor, can be contacted at 330-722-8257 Ext 1019 from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The secretary, Judy Eblen, can be contact at Ext. 1020 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Commencing with the 2012-2013 School Year, all students K-8 will be transported to Buckeye Schools; there will not be “no transport zones”. We will be running two separate runs; first, transporting Jr. High students to the Jr. High School then returning out to the district to pick up elementary students on a second run.
At least a five to seven day notice must be given for requests/changes. Emergency requests will be handled with a bus pass issued by the building principal. (Bus passes for playdates will not be permitted. Non-registered bus riders may not ride the bus home with another student.) Requests must be for five days per week to the same address. Day to day changes will not be permitted. Routes will not be changed to accommodate requests. Requests will be handled in the order received.
Information regarding bus routes for the upcoming school year will be available in August.
Transportation Information letters will be mailed to registered bus student in August for the upcoming school year.
Any changes requested after the letters go out will not be made until the 2nd week of the school year. Parents will be responsible for transportation until then.
All transportation information we are providing has approximate pick up and drop off times. Please note times may vary up to 15 minutes early or late for the first 7-10 days of school.
If your student is in Kindergarten, a parent or guardian must be visible to the bus driver before they will be released from the bus.
In an attempt to improve communications with parents, students and staff we are utilizing the Remind Notification System. Remind is a free, safe and easy to use communication tool that is intended to assist our Transportation Department to instantly alert parents, students and staff with one way text messaging.
